Michael Johnson
CEO + Design Director
Following his graduation from Troy University with a degree in Graphic Media Design, Michael first honed his skills in Miami with The Digital Arts AV, installing premium systems across South Florida and Central America. He then returned to his roots in the Huntsville Market in 2004, where he served as the lead designer and sales manager for a prominent AV and installation firm until 2014.
Motivated by the evolving landscape of smart home systems, he leveraged his design background to establish Mozaic, Inc., a company dedicated to redefining technology integration with a fresh emphasis on simplicity, beauty, and the user experience.
Stephanie Johnson
CFO + Exterior Lighting Designer
Stephanie Johnson is the founding Chief Financial Officer for Mozaic Inc. With 18 years of small business finance and human resource experience, she works behind the scenes to keep the infrastructure of our company running smoothly. As a member of the executive board she brings her knowledge and expertise as well as a female perspective to our aesthetic and design choices.
Stephanie’s hobbies include home renovation as well as restoring old houses for resale. Look for collaborative projects in the future featuring her restoration skills with Mozaic’s design focused smart technology upgrades.
Craig McDade
Senior System Design Engineer
After studying Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Craig began his career with software development for a local engineering firm, subsequently transitioning to telecommunications. Craig has established himself as a vital Mozaic team member and has worked alongside Michael for 20 years.
He holds numerous certifications from industry leaders such as Savant, Control4, Crestron, RTI, Lutron, and Elan. His knowledge spans every project phase, including design, engineering, prewire, trim out, installation, and programming, making him an invaluable asset.
Jeff Cook
Chief Installation Manager
As our Chief Installation Manager, Jeff relies on his more than 15 years of experience to ensure the end result of our projects is excellence. Jeff leads by example, immersing himself in the field daily rather than confining himself to a desk. His presence ensures that each installation meets our rigorous standards and exceeds client expectations.
Having honed his skills over a decade and a half, Jeff brings unparalleled insight and proficiency to his role. From the inception of a project to its final execution, Jeff’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect aligns with our vision of seamless technology integration.
Harold Jackson
Project Coordinator
With over 30 years of dedicated experience in customer service and more than 20 years specifically focused on tech support, Harold is a seasoned customer service specialist.
Having started his journey with Mozaic as a technician before taking over the role of project coordinator, Harold has a unique blend of technical proficiency and installation experience. Those skills combined with his customer service background make him an invaluable asset in product procurement and client support ensuring our projects move as smoothly as possible from “inspiration to installation”.
